This stool test uses advanced PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) technology to detect DNA from the most common protozoal parasites found in the UK. It is a convenient home test kit designed to screen for specific parasitic infections that cause gastrointestinal symptoms.

Please note: This is not a microscopy-based test and it does not detect all worm eggs, ova, or non-UK parasites. See full details below for what's included.

Important: This test seeks protozoal cysts' and parasites' DNA using PCR technology. It does not detect worm eggs, helminths, or non-native parasites.

Who Is This Test Suitable For?
Individuals with gastrointestinal symptoms such as: 

• Persistent diarrhoea
• Abdominal discomfort
• Recent exposure to untreated water or farm animals

Not suitable for:

Testing for worms (helminths) or non-UK parasites
